On August 11-13, 2010, a diverse group of leaders from the Appalachian counties of Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia, will come together in Charleston, WV for the first ever summit meeting of the Central Appalachia Regional Network or CARN. This feature talks about the ways in which the summit will bring together policy makers, educators, religious leaders, youth organizers, and others from the region, with the aim of determining key policy priorities for the future of Appalachia.
